At Sycamore Drive-In, we’ve been serving Monticello, IN, with old-fashioned charm and delicious flavors since 2005. What started as a simple ice cream shop has grown into a local favorite where friends and families gather to enjoy great food, sweet treats, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Head down Washington and 6th in Monticello and you may see some of the most traffic in town. Why? Because it's the home of the Sycamore drive-in. This place is an amazing frozen custard place. It has a popular drive in, but I choose to bypass the line and use the walk up window. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy the treats. They also have hamburgers, chicken and other food. For me, I've only had the ice cream. I got a bubba - custard in a cup with a treat mixed in. I like the heath, my daughter picked Oreo. My wife went with a cone. Don't wait too long to come here though. It closes at 9pm. So good!

Very good! Great prices. Busy so it takes time to get your order. Nice stop when passing through.

We try to go every time we are in town. The drive thru gets busy the later you go. There is ample parking and an order window as well. There are picnic tables under shade trees. In the fall they have a sign to watch for falling walnuts. They a variety of food items as well.
